Itinerary
Day 1 – Memphis, TN – Beale Street Dinner
Today, arrive in Memphis, TN where you enjoy a two-night stay at a local hotel.
End the day on Beale Street for dinner at the Blues City Cafe and sample some of the South’s favorite dishes. After dinner, you will have time to explore Beale Street on your own. (D)
Day 2 – Memphis MoJo Tour – Sun Studios – Elvis Presley’s Graceland – Memphis Dinner & Music Cruise
This morning features a one-of-a-kind driving tour of Memphis’ musical heritage. The Home of the Blues comes alive as a professional Beale Street musician plays and sings selections from the city’s rich musical heritage. While driving you are entertained with comedy, history, and behind-the-scenes stories of your favorite Memphis personalities. It’s an exciting introduction to Memphis.
During this tour you will also visit Sun Studios – The Birthplace of Rock N’ Roll (1950) and home to the ‘Million Dollar Quartet’ – Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. Stand in the very same spot that Elvis first recorded. Your tour guide will tell you the inside stories of B.B. King, Howlin’ Wolf and Ike Turner before Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, & Roy Orbison who were all drawn to the new Sun Sound. Did you know that Sun Studios is still rockin’ today? You never know who may walk in the door as you’re walking out.
The afternoon features the highlight of your trip – Elvis Presley’s Graceland. Enjoy the Elvis Experience Tour at Graceland. This a one-of-a-kind experience will lead you on Elvis’s fascinating journey to superstardom. You will experience the cultural changes that led to the birth of Rock ‘n’ Roll and see, first-hand, how Elvis became the most celebrated entertainer in the world.
Experience how the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll lived as you tour Graceland mansion, step aboard his famous custom jets, and check out his collection of cars. The Graceland Experience also includes Elvis Presley’s Memphis, the entertainment complex which includes Elvis The Entertainer Career Museum, exhibits and much more.
Tonight features a Memphis Dinner & Music Cruise. Enjoy a two-hour cruise on Ol’ Man River featuring Live Entertainment (Blues & Jazz) and a great BBQ meal. (B,D)
Day 3 – Memphis Music Hall of Fame – Branson, MO – Dinner Show
After breakfast this morning, visit the Memphis Music Hall of Fame. This is your introduction to some of the greatest musicians of all time – each responsible for shaping modern music and changing the world forever right here in Memphis!
Then depart for Branson, MO where you enjoy a two-night stay at a local hotel. Tonight, enjoy the dinner show of your choice. Great show options are: Dolly’s Stampede Dinner Show, Shepherd of the Hills, Showboat Branson Belle and The Hughes Brothers. (B,D)
Day 4 – Morning Show – Branson Landing – Matinee Show – Evening Show
This morning, enjoy the morning show of your choice. Some great show options are: Doug Gabriel, Dublin’s Irish Tenors, Down Home Country and George Dryer.
Following your morning show, enjoy free time at Branson Landing located on the waterfront of beautiful Lake Taneycomo in downtown Branson. Explore with over 100 specialty shops and restaurants. Have Lunch on your own today while shopping.
Next, enjoy the matinee show of your choice. Here are a couple show options: #1 Hits of the 60s, Clay Cooper, Sight & Sound, Showboat Branson Belle, Pierce Arrow, The Haygoods, and SIX just to name a few.
Dinner will be included tonight at a local restaurant followed by your choice of evening show. Some great choices include Shepherd of the Hills, Dolly’s Stampede Dinner Show, Legends in Concert, and The Duttons. (B,D)
