Itinerary
Day 1 – Monday, Oct 26 – Arrive Branson
After a leisurely day of travel, arrive in Branson, MO and check into your hotel for a four night stay. Dinner will be included this evening at a restaurant conveniently located near your hotel. (D)
Day 2 – Tuesday, October 27 – PraiseFest Branson Morning Celebration – Branson Landing – Presley’s Country Jubliee
This morning at the Mansion Theatre your group will be thrilled with a brand-new gospel event coming to one of America’s top music destinations: PraiseFest Branson! This three day concert is a brand-new event coming to one of America’s top music destinations: Praisefest is a multi-day celebration filled with powerful music, worship, and gospel, plus it features some of the biggest names in Christian music! Scheduled performers this morning: Dr. David Jeremiah, Dixie Echoes, The Craguns, Charles Billingsley, and Liberty Quartet.
Next is free time at Branson Landing for lunch and shopping. Followed by dinner at local restaurant and Presley’s Country Jubilee. Presley’s was instrumental in the creation of the live show industry in Branson. They are a fabulously gifted family that continues to thrill audiences with spectacular country and gospel music and clever comedy antics! (B,D)
Day 3 – Wednesday, Oct 28 – PraiseFest Branson Morning Celebration – Branson Craft Mall – “Where Jesus Walked” – The Duttons
PraiseFest Branson Day 2. Your group will enjoy another morning show at the Mansion Theatre. Experience powerful performances of Southern Gospel favorites, and inspiring songs that proclaim the hope and joy. Whether you come with family, friends, or your church group, this event promises to create lasting memories. Let voices that stir the soul and messages that uplift the heart remind you of the reason we celebrate. Scheduled this morning are: Dr. David Jeremiah, Greater Vision, Lauren Talley and Gold City Quartet.
Lunch today is on own and is filled with free time at the Branson Craft Mall.
Then in the afternoon you see “Where Jesus Walked.” A popular immersive, faith-based live show that takes you on a virtual journey through the life and times of Jesus Christ using powerful visuals, photography, and storytelling, offering a profound spiritual experience in the style of a high-tech movie or virtual reality experience, not an actual location you physically walk in. It’s an attraction at a theater highlighting significant moments from the Holy Land.
Following dinner this evening we suggest The Duttons for your evening entertainment. This family-friendly music show blasted onto the national stage when they placed in the top ten on America’s Got Talent, and they remain one of Branson’s most enduring and powerful shows! (B,D)
Day 4 – Thursday, Oct 29 – Eureka Springs, AR – The Great Passion Play – Holy Land Tour w/Dinner
Travel to Eureka Springs where your day is spent at The Great Passion Play. You visit the Bible Museum which is made up of more than 6,000 Bibles in 625 languages as well as 3,000 artifacts. The Sacred Arts Museum features a diverse mix of artistic mediums portraying Christ and the Christian life. There are over 1,000 works of art in 64 different forms with pieces dating back to the ninth century.
Next, The Holy Land Tour provides you with the unique opportunity to experience the people, culture, and history of the ancient Middle East. You will explore the ancient Middle Eastern culture in which Jesus was raised and will meet characters from the time of Moses to the time of Christ. As you tour through the New Holy Land, your guide will explain each exhibit and will stop along the way to allow you to meet Biblical characters who will help you understand the living history of the scriptures. Each of the individual exhibits in the Holy Land Tour have been researched for historical accuracy and have been recreated as authentically as possible, here you will:
– Speak with a “Levitical Priest” in the full-scale replica of Moses’,
– Visit a replica of a first century Inn typical of the type where Mary and Joseph may have asked for shelter,
– Walk beside the “Sea of Galilee” with Simon Peter as he speaks of his last days with Jesus,
– and Visit to the upper room where Jesus and his disciples feasted for the Last Supper.
You will also enjoy a wonderful dinner in The Great Passion Play’s Great Hall Buffet. Finally, this evening, The Great Passion Play. The performance begins with the resurrection of Lazarus and continues on the Triumphal Entry of Christ into Jerusalem on the day known as Palm Sunday. During the performance you will witness the significant events leading to and including Christ’s crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension into Heaven.
You will see the colorful spectacle of the marketplace, the pageantry of the chariot and camel caravan, and the hustle and bustle of the crowds as they go about their daily activities. You may especially enjoy seeing the live animals on the streets of Jerusalem, the poignant healing, the angel rolling away the stone at the tomb, and the dramatic and exciting ascension of Jesus into the night sky.
Hundreds of actors and actresses, live animals, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting create an unforgettable experience for you under the stars. (B,D)
